- Kusaya is Japanese-style salted-dried and fermented fish, usually made with mackerel, flying fish or dolphinfish. It has a very pungent smell and is similar to the fermented Swedish herring surströmming. Apparently when grilling Kusaya, a terribly bad odor spreads and fills the air.
- Rental-san’s name on the Dreams Con poster was initially printed as “Rental nani mo shinai hito” instead of “Rental nan mo shinai hito” which is of course Rental-san’s Twitter name (and also the title of this drama ^^). Both phrases have the same meaning.
