Announcement [Dropped]

[8 Nov 2020] UPDATE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are dropping this project. But rest assured, aoinousagi @ d-addicts will be picking up where we left off. Thank you!

Just a heads up. We will be subbing the 10-episode autumn 2020 drama “Marry Me!” starring Kumada Rinka and Seto Toshiki, a live-action adaptation of the web manga by Yuki Miku. This will be low priority until “Kanojo ga Joubutsu Dekinai Riyuu” is completely subbed in about two weeks time, after which it’ll be switched to high priority weekly releases. TiduAura will be translating and I’ll handle the rest. Yoroshiku!

Synopsis:

The “NEET Protection Act”, an unprecedented law that allows unmarried adults and NEETs to marry, is enacted in an attempt to solve social problems such as declining birthrate and aging population. Civil servant Akiyasu Shin, who works for the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, is chosen as the first subject of this program. He has experience in love, but has no desire to marry. He wants to succeed in this mission so that he can rise through the ranks. His chosen marriage partner, Sawamoto Himari, is a recluse and a NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training). She has never had a part-time job, and has been taking care of her grandparents after graduating from junior high school. Not to mention, she has never been in a relationship and has lost all connection with society. The two meet through this strange law and begin a married life with zero romantic feelings…

The series at DA appears to have been dropped by that person. Did see a thread announcing it but have checked 3-4 times in the last two days and it’s been deleted. So it turns out that person never began the project and would love to see it resumed here if possible. Have viewed a few other of your projects and the subs were all superb so thanks for them and also if you could start this series again, still have the first three episodes that were uploaded.
