Omatase! The story unfolds very differently in the movie as compared to the novel. It stands strong on its own, though I do wonder what it might’ve felt like had they followed the novel’s sequence of events—maybe it would’ve worked better as a drama series.
Still, the cast gave great performances, and it’s beautifully shot. Enjoy!
