Thank you for subtitling Nishiogikubo Mitsuboshi Youshudou. I’ve been looking forward to watching this series. I appreciate the work you’ve put into subtitling and I know how tough it can be at times, as I am an SDH subtitler. Most of my professional work is for educational films and corporate videos (well, it pays the bills!). One small point of constructive criticism that will help to improve your work overall. Pay close attention to the visual edits and, wherever possible, try to work within them. This will mean some lines have to be adapted, but the art of subtitling is as much about adaptation as it is about translation. Still, your work is a damn sight better than some subtitlers’ output I could mention. Best of luck with your new job; and I’ll be dropping in again to catch the latest episode of Nishiogikubo Mitsuboshi Youshudou.
